Membership

Membership in the Order of Saint Michael is open to law-enforcement, public safety personnel and common defense Christian men and women over the age of 20 and who qualify for membership. Younger individuals are allowed to participate in the Order of Saint Michael, with a mentor, as a squire or lady in waiting until they are old enough to become members. Individuals who are not first responders or who are not in law-enforcement can still support the Order of Saint Michael by becoming Companions to the Order and/or through qualifying membership in the Knights of the Rose.

Membership Community

The Order of Saint Michael is an international organization with approximately 150 members in the United States. Internationally the Order of Saint Michael has active members in Italy, Albania, Spain, England, and Canada. The state of California currently has approximately 100 members. A large contingency of the organization is retired law-enforcement and military members from various departments throughout the state who also served in common defense for the United States of America.

International Community

As a part of our international development and relations, the Order has embraced and development membership from the Italian Carabiniere and with Albania’s ambassador to the Vatican. These new members have enthusiastically embraced the Order and have established the Order in their countries. These new Commandries (charters) have embraced the same mission and vision of the Order of Saint Michael (United States / California) and have set high goals of support by raising funds and support to purchase an ambulance, wheel Chairs (for the needy) and computers for Children and Schools in their local regions among other projects.
